For readers
Exploring with Discover
Wander your library as a galaxy of covers, and find books that fit your taste.
The Discover tab is for when you don’t know exactly what you want. It shows the whole library as a galaxy of covers you can move through, with books that fit your taste pulled closer.
The constellation
Books cluster by what they have in common, so related titles sit near each other. Tap any cover to open it.
You can switch how you explore with the 2D and 3D chips at the top:
- 2D is a flat map of the collection. It’s quick and works on any phone.
- 3D is a space you can fly through. Drag to orbit, scroll or pinch to zoom, and tap a star to open it.
For you
If you’re signed in and have borrowed a few things, a For you row suggests books based on what you’ve read, sometimes with a note like “Because you like history.” Your reading taste also shows as a handful of subjects.
If you’re new and haven’t borrowed yet, you’ll see Popular right now instead, until there’s enough to learn from. Borrow or reserve a few books and your suggestions will start to fit.
Sign in to make it yours
Signed out, Discover still works, but the suggestions are general. Sign in and the brightest stars become books chosen for you. None of this is shared or sold; see Privacy & your data.
